I swear to god, I will never try to attempt accuracy again. ESPECIALLY for Riptide. I started this months ago, kept stopping and starting, finally say down and slapped some quick colours on him tonight. Just him being his derpy self. I’m still amused so many people thought he was going to turn up to be the turncoat/evil doer.

But inside he’s just a delightful herp derp who wants all the gossip. And can’t handle tension well. Poor kibbly boo.

Hey guys, I know I have been absent for about 4 months, and I apologize. I will try to be better in the new year, just had a lot of life to deal with for a while, and then it was a downward spiral of ‘oh god, its been a month, that’s so much catching up, oh god, its been TWO months’ etc

Haven’t posted in a while, and I realised that I haven’t drawn Bob or Pipes yet. Shame! Shame on me! I love both these guys! (And also Sunstreaker, but he’s had lots and lots of fanart).

I think Pipes would have found Bob at the least really neat, with his whole open-mindedness about wanting to go explore and find new things. Bob, for his part, probably finds people about his size whose hands aren’t much bigger than his little grabby ones, pretty interesting too.

I know some of the regular sized autobots were a bit put off by Bob, so I don’t think it’s a stretch to assume some of the really tiny little guys might have even been a little afraid of him. He’s smaller than the average dude, sure, but he’s still got more mass than a lot of the minibots. It’s hard to see because he’s quadrupedal and usually a bit squat down on the floor, but he’s probably equivalent to what- a lab, for size comparison? That’s pretty big when you’re the size of a 4-9 year old.

So here’s a Pipes being delighted to meet Bob, who’s delighted and curious to meet a Pipes.  

(Sidenote: will be using the old askblog to reblog art for those who just want to see that. May still answer asks sometimes, but I figure this is a better way to use that account, since its stuck as my primary. It is now called slogarts)

Hi. I’m a 10 year Army combat veteran. I spent quite a bit of my life in foreign countries fighting for my country. I’ve lost a few friends over the past decade. Some came back and weren’t the same. Many lost limbs. I, myself, suffer from PTSD. Explosions like fireworks, gunshots… these things…

I’m sorry, but the response there was obnoxious. Utterly obnoxious. Sure, you can feel what you like, and respond how you like. No one should tell you its invalid. They are your feelings, and they are personal and important to you. That’s fine and acceptable.

But to say that someone feeling uncomfortable or bullied by word use is comparable and as severe as someone who cannot function day to day without the aid of a helper animal, who cannot hear certain sounds without falling to their knees, terrified and crippled in an instant. Or to someone who flinches at so much as a raised voice for fear of being struck. To someone who cannot look at a place, or enter a city without absolutely and completely breaking down because of something that happened years ago-

No. Those are not the same. For a website that is supposed to be so accepting and all-valuing, that was a pretty quick turn around to wave off someone with a very real problem. I find that is a frequent tumblr thing, unfortunately.

It’s a jumping spider, I know that much.

I don’t usually reblog anything, but that’s a rather attractive and beautifully coloured arachnid.

Absolutely striking. Can’t place my finger on why I feel so connected to it, but that’s a beaut!
